Is Cloud Paper safe for septic systems?
Cloud Paper is septic friendly. Our bamboo paper degrades just as quickly as leading TP brands. Every septic system is a little different, though. We encourage you to use what you think is best for your system (and hopefully best for the planet, too!)

How many sheets per roll?
Our rolls are 350 sheets per roll and 3-ply.

Why is bamboo better?
Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, growing up to 3 feet per day while absorbing massive amounts of carbon during its growth. Bamboo reaches harvest maturity in just three years and, unlike trees, bamboo does not need to be replanted after it is harvested as the bamboo will continue to grow. Bamboo toilet paper generates at least 30% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to tree-based toilet paper.

Where is your product manufactured?

Cloud Paper is based in Seattle -- where we pack and ship our orders from. Our packaging is made with recycled materials, is 100% plastic-free, and made locally in the PNW. All-in, about a dozen local businesses help with what goes into the final CP box that's delivered.

Our bamboo is grown in local family-operated farms in Asia (where most bamboo is grown!) and we have sustainability-focused (FSC-certified) manufacturing partners who create the paper itself in China. We then 2x offset any carbon emissions generated during the transportation of our product from our manufacturing partners to your doorstep.
